Companies may organize social events, provided that these are planned to start after the conclusion of the official congress program of the day. The TAT 2012 poster reception is part of the official congress program.

In the period beginning on March 8, 9.00 hrs. through to March 10, 16.00 hrs., the organizers of TAT 2012 will not allow any corporate-organized satellite symposia or similar events at the official TAT 2012 venue, except for the one(s) approved by the TAT2012 organizers. Visit the page "Sponsoring/exhibiting" for opportunities for official satellite symposia.

Activities involving TAT 2012 delegates and/or faculty (such as internal meetings, press conferences, educational or promotional activities) inside or outside the TAT 2012 venue cannot be concomitant with the scientific program of TAT2012, but may be held during breaks or in parallel with satellite symposia, and are subject to the Congress organizers’ approval. Clear identification of the organizers, purpose, targeted participants and the full program must be submitted to the TAT 2012 Secretariat for approval at least 6 weeks prior to the event. Press conferences are subject to a specific policy that is available from the TAT 2012 Secretariat upon request.

Any other activity that is organized with the purpose of promoting the company's presence during the event or its products or services is subject to organizers’ approval. Should the activity not be approved but implemented nevertheless at the Congress, the NDDO Education Foundation penalties will be calculated based on the most comparable promotional activity and relating infraction/penalty covered by this policy.
