Previous TAT congresses
The last two meetings in the annual series of TAT congresses were held in Paris, France, in March 2011 and in Bethesda, MD, USA, in March 2010. Abstracts and most presentations (in PDF format) of both meetings are accessible by clicking the banners on the right-hand side of this webpage.
The TAT series started in 2002, but the first two meetings - held in Amsterdam in 2002 and 2003 - were entitled “International Symposium on Signal Transduction Modulators in Cancer Therapy”. The current title "International Symposium on Targeted Anticancer Therapies", was launched in 2005 when ESMO joined as a partner and the meeting received the official status of ESMO Partnership Meeting. TAT 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2009 were all held in Amsterdam, with Professor Giuseppe Giaccone serving as Symposium President. When Professor Giaccone had been appointed at the U.S. National Cancer Institute , this Institute joined as a partner as of TAT 2008, which was held in Bethesda, MD, the hometown of NCI. TAT 2010 was also held in Bethesda.
